April 20-Easter Egg Hunt


Take your picture with a silly bunny and hunt for eggs. Sponsored by the Mountain View Lions Club.

May 27- Memorial Day Flag Raising


We remember those who lost their lives serving our country through a Flag Raising Ceremony conducted at the flag pole by volunteers from the American Legion and VFW. The ceremony includes a 21-gun salute and taps.

 July 3- Treaty of 1868 Reenactment


Commemoration and historical reenactment of the Treaty of 1868 that was signed at Fort Bridger.

July 4- Fourth of July Kids Extreme

            Free- Begins right after the parade through Fort Bridger that starts at 11 am.

                        Games and activities to enjoy with prizes and refreshments. This year’s theme is the

150th anniversary of women’s suffrage in Wyoming.

August 30-September 2- Fort Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous

            8am- $5 per person, 12 and under free, dressed in pre-1840 head-to-toe free

Food, shopping, kids activities, music, dancing, marksmanship competitions, and more. Visitors dressed pre-1840 head-to-toe attire enters free. Sponsored by the Fort Bridger Rendezvous Association.

September 28- Bike Your Park

            10am- Free to participants

            Experience the fort in a new way by biking a guided two mile path around the fort.

October TBA- Halloween Tick-or-Treat

            6:30-9pm- $5 per person, 5 and under free

Walk a solar lighted path, get spooked by volunteers, receive candy at historic buildings, and end with hot beverages and a hay ride back to your vehicle. Sponsored by the Fort Bridger Historical Association.

December 15- Victorian Christmas at the Fort

            2-5pm- $5 per person, 12 and under free

Visit the Commanding Officer’s Quarters for children’s activities, caroling, pictures with Santa, readings of The Night Before Christmas, and refreshments. Sponsored by the Fort Bridger Historical Association.

January 1, 2020- First Day Hike


                        Take in history, scenery, and make new friends as you walk one mile around the

site with refreshments to follow.
