  1. Remember the thinner you slice the onion, potatos, and carrots, the faster it will cook. In a #12 Dutch Oven start cooking by adding onion. Mix in, potatos, garlic, ground beef, and sausage (Do not brown the meats). When done you may wish to thicken the stew. Salt and pepper to taste. About 5 minutes before serving - add Swiss Cheese and let it melt. Serve warm. Serves 6. Adjust to serve more ......
